Syn. H. macrophylla var. normalis & ‘Maritima’

This is the closest cultivar to the wild form of H. macrophylla.  The fertile flowers pink in bud opening purple, surrounded by white sterile sepals with small fine pink veins radiating a short way from the pink eye.
