A medium tall variety of good constitution. Large mopheads of rose-pink, and on an acid soil, a vivid deep blue.  The old flower heads colour well in autumn, producing a variety of rich red shades which dry well. Sepals wavy to coarsely serrate. Best in shade, but tolerates sun. 1.25m
