Blushing Bride’ blooms on new growth (remontant) without a cold requirement. It has rounded habit and strong stems with glossy green, mildew-resistant leaves that turn a beautiful yellow to red fall colour.  It flowers on old wood and new growth of the season from May to as late as October, The white inflorescences, containing sterile florets many of which have double layers of sepals, maturing to pale pink or light blue.  It originated from controlled cross-pollination of Hydrangea macrophylla `Veitchii` with Hydrangea macrophylla `Bailmer` at theUniversityofGeorgia,Athens,Ga.in 2001,
