Hello Carina,
Thanks for getting in touch. We no longer have a plant in the garden called 'Mikawa Chidori' but we do have Hydrangea macrophylla var. normalis, which may be a synonym. We do not keep records of which nurseries currently sell which cultivars, as this can change week by week. If you want to find a supplier for a specific cultivar, we recommend that you start with a search against the RHS Plant Finder. Alternatively you can search online, though I imagine you have already tried this. You could also try contacting one of the many specialist hydrangea groups on Facebook.
Good luck.

Hello,

I'm looking for Hydrangea macrophylla 'Mikawa Chidori'.

I noticed it is listed in your National Collection.

Could you please let me know if there is any nursery in the UK that propagates or sells this cultivar?

Many thanks.

Hi
I am assuming that you live in the UK

It is not currently listed in the RHS Plant Finder, and a Google UK search resulted in no UK nurseries advertising this plant currently. We have a plant in our collection and I also recorded it present at the following gardens (dates surveyed included)

RW = Rosewarne Garden Cornwall UK 1997
TR = Trelissick Garden Truro UK 2000
WIN = Windsor Great Park UK 1994
WS = Wisley RHS Garden UK 1998 & 2010

If you are really very keen to get this plant we could possibly sell you some cuttings in July
