Bred by crossing H. m. rosea with H. m. ‘Otaska’  This popular cultivar makes a very large, vigorous and free flowering shrub that is equally happy in sun or shade.  The flowers are large and are a pleasing pale pink or clear blue depending on soil type and continue to form on side branches ensuring flowering continues until the first frosts.  Grows to 2m.
