Of the Merrit hydrangeas that are widely distributed inAmericathis is often most sought after as it begins blooming very early in the season and has a late season in the Fall as well. Shell-like petals of porcelain perfection are crowded together in a most charming way in the small bloom heads. Rarely blue but makes a lovely mauve or purple in acid conditions.
