One of the larger paniculatas. Branches are strong and erect and dark brown with grey stripes. Leaves are the darkest green of any Hydrangea paniculata cultivar. The combination of showy sepals and fertile flowers produces a balanced flower head, neither too sparse nor too heavy.  Flowers heads start white and age to pink and will last well into October and November.
