A beautiful and compact cultivar.   The fertile florets are reddish but almost entirely hidden by the delicate white petals of the sterile florets with their thin, serrated carmine-red edge.  Also the leaves are reddish in colour.  It is named after the nursery (Hydrangeasplus) foreman’s daughter, Sol America.
