Six members of the American Hydrangea Society on a garden tour of Europe and Britain stopped off in Derby to visit the National Collection of Hydrangeas in Darley Park. It was the last stop on their tour and agreed that it was the best of the lot. It is a bit too hot in their home city of Atlanta, Georgia for many hydrangeas so were delighted to see, thriving in our collection, many of the cultivars that struggle in the climate back home. They took away with them multiple digital photos to remind them of a short but exciting and memorable visit.
