Andy Potter came to our collection in the early days of its existence. He turned up one sunny morning with his microphone and asked us the questions which fitted into what we wanted to say, knowing we needed the publicity and Derby needed to know about this new attraction.  He’s popped in several times since to see how we’ve been going on.  Last year, he unveiled the mosaic for us and the following day broadcast his show from the garden.  The sun shone on both days and he chatted with the visitors and then with the guests on his programme.  It was like having a coffee with a friend.  The hydrangeas will be at their best come August; dare we hope to see you there again?
