Characterized by its upright and mounded plant habit; strong and sturdy stems; dark green-coloured leaves; large mophead-type inflorescences with numerous dark pink-coloured sterile flowers; and reblooming habit.  originated from an open-pollination of the Hydrangea macrophylla `Bailmer`, as the female, or seed parent and an unknown selection of Hydrangea macrophylla as the male, or pollen, parent.
