Crug Farm Plants say: Due to popular demand of this distinct collection, which we gathered seed of on Fan Si Pan the highest mountain inVietnam, we feel it proper to name it. Only forming a relatively small shrubs in the wild to 3m tall, with ovate-elongate roughly haired leaves which are bronzy coloured on emergence, contrasting with the conspicuous red young wood and petioles. Bearing white flowers in wide flattened corymbs in June-August.
