A very distinctive and unusual cultivar of compact upright habit, with strong red stems and shiny dark green leaves. The panicles are narrow and pointed and quite open. The sterile flowers only have 50% cover, they start of white but change to ping and then red. The large dense clusters of white fertile flowers can be clearly seen between the sterile flowers, and later in the season the fertile flowers are replaced by tight dense clusters of bright red seed capsules that age to a dark red.
