Origins: Bred by Jacques Couturieux and marketed by SAPHO from La Ménitré (France).

An excellent compact cultivar with strong upright very red stems. The panicles are of the open type with only 10% cover of sterile flowers that start out white but soon turn pink and finally hang down on long pedicels showing a dark brick red reverse. The red seed capsules can be seen between the red hanging flowers at the end of the season giving a much appreciated second flush of beauty
