Crug Farm say: From our 1997 trip toKoreaand then Japan with Dan Hinkley, a distinct form in our seed collection of this species which the Japanese consider to be a distinct variety. With similar coloration as the Japanese named ‘Kiyosumi’, but with larger more intensely coloured sterile florets of white edged cherry red. As well as the distinct feature of the leaves emerging and retaining the bronze colour. By some coincidence our collection was gathered on the opposite side of the same mountain as the named form above, a fact that was brought to light in 2007.
