Still Plenty to See

IMAG0465 660 IMAG0466 660 IMAG0467 660 IMAG0468 660 IMAG0472 660The hydrangea season is usually from late July to late October so there is still plenty to see.  The paniculatas (coned shaped flowers) are particularly charming at the moment and well worth an extra visit.  Some of the macrophyllas are coming to an end of their flowering season but there are still others that are well worth a look.  A photo of a lovely straight grass edge is included to show you how generously our volunteers have been giving of their time.  The RHS trail plants have had mixed success but we’ve managed to keep at least one of each cultivar that was put in our care.  The watering we did during that dry spell has been vital in keeping the plants healthy.
