‘Magical Candle’ has a compact and upright habit. The strong and arching stems are brown and the leaves a mid-green. The flower heads are upright and completely covered by the sterile florets. The sepals start green but soon turn white before aging to a pale shell-pink as they flip over showing a dull-pink reverse.
