The 2017 Season is now over and it's time to close the gates of the walled garden.  The outer garden can still be part of a walk in Darley Park, however.  The 2017 Season started early this year and the hydrangeas have created a colourful corner to Derby's green...

Autumn is here but the hydrangeas are still making colour and shape in our corner of Darley Park.  The gates will close at the end of October so there is still time to come and view these amazing plants.

Wonderful day with lots of visitors in the cool Summer day.  The two tours were informative and gave us a chance to show off our hydrangeas and what we've been doing.  Thank you to all who made it happen.  Some of the comments we got: What an amazing collection!  Well...

Who would have thought that there were still different variations and cultivars of the familiar Hydrangea macrophylla group.  Here a two very different flower heads from the same family.  They'll be ready to add to the collection next year.
